The Avalon Rugby Club was formed in 1970 following the amalgamation of two Senior Clubs Taita and Naenae.
During this time the Avalon Rugby Club has fielded teams in most grades with their Premier team regularly finishing in the top four of the Wellington Rugby Unions prestigious Jubillee Cup round.
We are located in Percy Cameron Street, Lower Hutt which is part of the large Fraser Park Sports Ground.
Our large carpeted clubrooms are open daily from 4.00pm during the week and midday on the weekend. They incorporate a bar, TAB and gaming machines and prospective members are encouraged to visit our facilities.
Attached to our clubrooms we have a large sawdust gymnasium for indoor training and within a short distance of the clubrooms there are two full size floodlit rugby fields available for outdoor training.
Our clubrooms are utilised all year by a number of sports codes including Avalon Rugby, Avalon Touch and Hutt Valley Dodgers Softball and Avalon Junior Rugby
