Avalon Wolves Rugby Football Club is a proud, community-focused rugby club based in the heart of the Hutt Valley. We're more than just a rugby clu - we're a whānau. Whether you're a player, coach, supporter, parent or sponsor, you're a part of the Wolfpack.

Who We Are? 

Founded in 1979 through the merge or Naenae Oldboys and Taita RFC, Avalon Rugby Club has a proud tradition of excellence on and off the field. We compete across a range of junior and senior grades in Wellington region and have a strong reputation for producing talented players, passionate supporters and a positve club culture.

In 2014, the club officially adopted the wolf as our symbol - representing strength, loyalty, teamwork and leadership. Today, we proudly call ourselves Avalon Wolves. 

Our Achievements

We have a strong legacy in Wellington Rugby, including: 

• Swindale Sheild Champions - 1991, 2001
• Hardham Cup Finalists - 2010
• Multiple appearances in the Jubilee Cup
• Development of representative players for the All Blacks, Maori All Blacks, Samoa, Niue and more. 

We are committed to developing the next generation of players and continuing our tradition of success.
